Favourite Beauty Products 2017

2017 was definitely a marmite year for me! It was a good and bad year for me at the same time. I accomplished so many things but then an upsetting thing happened which still sucks a little bit for me. Anyway, let's get back to the positive and get on with this exciting post. I tried so many more brands last year more than I ever expected and I have way more variety of favourites than the previous time I did this post.

I have tried brands during 2017 that just exceeded my expectations and are now firm favourites of mine and one of those brands has to be Kat Von D makeup. This brand is fairly new to the UK as it came into Debenhams stores in Spring. I have tried a few products from the brand and I can just say wow! I can't wait to try more of her makeup brand.

Anyways less of the chit-chat lets get onto which products I loved in 2017!

My Favourite Beauty Products 2017

Urban Decay surprised us with the release of the Heat palette and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. The palette has the most beautiful warm orange and red colours inside and seeing as autumn/winter was around the corner I knew it had to be mine and thankfully I got this for my birthday. It comes in a very nicely designed box which is very sturdy and the palette itself is very strong and beautifully designed and inside it has a mirror with 12 different shades.

Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation and Serum
I can give these both the credit they need, they work so perfectly together that they had to be my favourite foundation and primer for 2017...even now! I apply the foundation to my face just after I cleanse and tone my face. Once dry I apply around 2 pumps of the primer on my face and once that dries I apply the foundation by putting some on the back of my hand and dabbing my real techniques makeup sponge into it so I get the right amount each time.

It is a little on the heavier side of the foundation scale but I prefer a more full foundation and it works very well for me. Lock-it foundation easily lasts all day combined with the primer and a makeup setting spray such as the urban decay all nighter spray.

Benecos Natural Beauty Bronzing Duo
Prior to 2017 I never heard of the brand Benecos but I am so lucky to have been sent some of their makeup products to try and one of the products was this bronzing duo. This brand is very budget friendly especially for an eco product as we know some of the brands can be a little expensive. The bronzer comes in a nice and simple packaging but the bronzer and blusher just shocked me so much at how pigmented they are! They are the perfect combination to contour with and also a great way to add definition to cheeks.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Nosferatu
Now I just love Jeffree Stars liquid lipsticks but for me, these have the edge! I bought this as a little pick me in September as a lot an of upsetting things were happening so yes the perfect way to add a smile to my face and expand my lipstick collection.  I love the applicator of this wand as it applies perfectly and adds the right amount of product each time. It is also very long lasting and even looks fab after hot drinks but I would suggest reapplication after eating as little comes off for me when I eat like most lipsticks do. They are 41 different shades to choose from and I can sure bet that I will be buying more of them in future.

3INA The Highlighter 201
Now, 3INA is a new brand that I discovered in 2017 and wow it just went into one of my favourite brands just like that. The highlighter is just divine, it's highly pigmented and a lovely golden shade. I love to apply this pretty much everywhere including my inner eyes, the tip of my nose and also on my cheekbones!

Sleek Creme to Powder Blush in Amaryllis
I got this gem way back in my October Glossy box and ever since then, I have been using it on and off. It is a very bold bright pink which is very buildable. Applying this was way easier than I thought as most creamy blushers I have used before have been a nightmare to use. The palette is purse-friendly and also has a mirror inside

Price: £5.99
urban decay heat palette
I just love this concealer as its buildable so you can use it on various occasions. It reduces fine lines under my eyes effortlessly and has a very nice smell too. I apply this after I apply my foundation and it works a treat for me. The applicator is very easy to use and it's also very soft too which is lovely because a  lot of the concealers I have tried before can be a little sharp if not careful.

Price: £19

Bourjois Liner Pinceau Eyeliner
This eyeliner definitely took some getting used too but this has been my favourite eyeliner EVER! It gives you the right amount of product each time and cat eyes and retro liner just so easy with this. Check out how I put my eyeliner on my Instagram. I'm not bragging but I've been applying liner most days for well over 10 years LOL.

Price:  £6.99

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
The name of this always makes me giggle a little bit because I am pretty sure they are almost right! This mascara is just perfect, it had an easy to use hour-glaas wand which applies mascara perfectly to every lash and if you want more definition well? continue to use it till its how you like it, thats what i sure do anyways haha.

Price: £19.00
