My First Kiko Haul

Just recently in Glasgow they brought a shop I was hoping they would bring... KIKO! I recently went to Glasgow Fort to treat myself ( I had no idea what I wanted but I wanted to see what they had in person and try it myself) Kiko Milano is a Italian cosmetics brand that was founded in 1997 by Percassi, the brand has a range of products such as makeup, nail polish, sun protection and skincare products.

First Impressions of Kikos Shop
The shop is very well designed and nice and bright so you can see all the makeup the shop has to offer ( its a good and bad thing because I really wanted to buy everything). The makeup collections where divided in different parts of the shop so it was easy find what you wanted and also to try it before you buy as they is testers for everything in their.
Honestly the staff in the Glasgow shop were very friendly and helped me choose the products I wanted! I also had my brows done to help define them and she told me how to achieve the look, its a great shop to know more about different makeup looks and what goes well with other products.

What I Bought
Gossamer Emotion Lipstick in 124 Azalea (£10.90) - This was the most expensive item I go on the day but I just love the detailing on the lipstick tube and shade of it is just divine too as its a bold creamy vibrant pink! My husband thought I would suit it so I got this to wear during the summer months.

Smart Lipstick in 931 Plum (£3.90) - I love a bargain and I think I know when I see one! I am a big fan of everything purple so this lipstick ticks that box and its also very affordable at under £4! Its nice to see that Kiko have a few lipsticks that a different from the norm that you see on beauty counters.

Three Eyeshadows in 169, 158, 156 (£2.90 each) - I have tested these shadows out already and I am pleasantly surprised how pigmented they are without primer they are! They are very easy to blend and can create a variety of different looks with ease.

Kajal Khol Pencil in 101 (£4.20) - I love using white eyeliners for my for inner eyelids! they brighten up my eyes ( I have dark circles) I usually apply an eyeliner and then add this to the tops and each corner of the eyelids

My Thoughts so far on Kiko
I am so happy to have tried Kiko makeup! its very good quality and they have a range of products to suit everyone's budget. I was in such a rush when I went last time as I took my family with me and I didn't want to take to long but I still found what I needed without the kids getting bored of waiting. I love the lipsticks the most, but saying that I am a biased because lipsticks are my favourite makeup. I really want to try the foundation and eyeliners next time I go shopping there.

  2. I've found that both KIKO stores I've been in (Birmingham and Westfields, London) are very well laid out and the staff are always really helpful too. I've been on a spending ban for the past few months, but as soon as I'm off it I definitely want to head to KIKO - I had no idea their eyeshadows were so reasonably priced.
