Lush Sea Salt Spray Review

lush sea salt spray review
Hi Lovelies
If they is one thing I need help with it has to be my unruly hair! I love having bright hair but it can be quite damaging to hair so I like to use the most natural hair products as possible and for me personally Lush is the best place to go for natural products.

I usually style my hair with straighteners but after that I like to use a hair spray to give it some volume.  I have heard a lot about sea salt sprays so I thought I would give Lush Sea Salt spray a whirl.

lush sea salt spray
After drying my hair as usual, I spray my hair with two sprays of this spray (my hair is a short bob) and it gives my hair lots more volume and it gives a nice hold which kinda reminds me of beach waves. The smell is very pleasant citrus smell that can be smelt all day. I love the fact only a small amount makes such a difference to my hair.

I personally found that spraying on scalp gives it a bit heavy feeling and a touch greasy and for me that doesn't work so well for me as I have quite a sensitive scalp. I would recommend just spraying an inch or two away from the scalp and styling as usual. Brushing out is easy too and doesn't leave hair feeling much different.

( RRP £9.95)

Have you tried anything from the lush hair care range?

OOTD // WWE T-Shirt

I love the detail at the back of the t-shirt!
What am I Wearing
Becky Lynch T Shirt - WWE Euroshop
Bag - New Look
Crop Leggings - Primark
Pink Converse - Schuh

If there is one thing I love to watch it has to be WWE and luckily for me this past Saturday I actually had the chance to go see a live event and it was out of this world. For the event, I bought myself a t-shirt of one of my favourite women wrestlers 'Becky Lynch'. I bought myself a size XL(UK Size 14-16) to make sure I was comfy and it fit me perfectly and there was plenty of room, I'm size 16.
I wore this outfit all day and  for the WWE event which took place in the evening time. I felt super confident and enjoyed the event to the max!

Do you have any events you like going too? Tell me in the comments your favourites?

Lush Fizzbanger Review

Lush Fizzbanger
Hi Lovelies
I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I know I sure did as I went to a live WWE event in Glasgow for the first time ever and I just loved it and got to see one of my favourite wrestlers ROMAN REIGNS! Anyways I will soon be posting more about that on a later date on a future blog post so do keep an eye out for that post.
Lush Fizzbanger has been hidden well in my room for just over two weeks, I know it seems like such a long time to keep a lush bath bomb but I couldn't bring myself to use it straight away because it made my room smell gorgeous for that amount of time I had it.

Lush Fizzbanger bath bomb
Fizzbanger is a bath bomb from Lush and it is a gorgeous bright yellow colour and has a plain design which my son says 'mummy it looks like Saturn' and I think he is very right it does. This cost me £3.50 and more info that's worth knowing is that its vegan and cruelty free.

Looking on the Lush website it describes Fizzbanger like being like a fireworks as its contains popping candy. I would very much agree its like fireworks because as soon as I put it in the bath it started to fizz away and it wasn't a fast melter, it took its time and gave a beautiful display of bright yellow and once the yellow went underneath was a bright blue which mixed with the yellow to create a gorgeous bright green shade. As all that was going on the fizzing was continuing and watching my bath fill up was very fascinating. Once the bath was filled and the bath bomb melting my bath was a super bright but exciting green and it reminded me of a witches brew.

The scent is just heaven with a combination of petitgrain oil, ylang ylang and cinnamon and for me it smells likeitrus and apples. On the Lush site it says it smells like apple pie and I totally agree as the sweet, citrus and not forgetting the cinnamon makes up similar smells. After my bath I smelt like the lovely citrus smell until the next morning which was fab.

This bath was very relaxing and I could of stayed in there for an hour if the water didn't go cold. Fizzbanger has ingriednts in it to help you relax and I couldn't agree more with that.

lush fizzbanger review

My Thoughts
I would 1 million percent buy this again in the future ( please lush don't discontinue this pretty please) smell was just gorgeous like the mix of citrus like sherbet dip and apple pie. The effect it made in the bath too was just fabulous, I am a sucker for nice design in the bath by lush products.

Hope you all loved this post and if you did I would appreciate if you followed me on my social media below. I hope you enjoyed my Lush post and of course they will be more lush posts coming up in the near future.

Favourite Spring Beauty Products

favourite spring beauty products
Hi Lovelies!
Spring has to be one of my favourite seasons as its the time of year the sun shines more and the flowers start coming back and for me that's just pure bliss! With the weather changes they is also a slight change to my beauty routine from winter into the spring and I have chosen to show you all my most loved products that I am using right now and of course the reasons on why I will be recommending them to you too.

For me during the warmer months my skin needs more TLC and its more then just beauty producrs that help to improve my skin, its also a few other things too. Always wear a suntan lotion and drink plenty of water, not just in the spring time but all year round too.

favourite spring beauty products
Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen  - This eyeliner really is the bees knees! I have used it almost everyday since I bought it which was a couple of months back for the main reason being, its so darn easy to use! All you have to do is hold it like a pen and it helps you create thick or thin lines to get the perfect eyeliner look. Its perfect for long days too as it stays perfectly all day and I am a busy mum of 3! Its also very affordable at £6.

Illamasqua Naked Lipstick - I usually go for the brightest lipstick they is but remarkably for me my favourite at the moment is a more of a nude shade! I recently got my lip pierced again and for some reason I suit this lipstick more now then I did before. Illamasqua naked lipstick is a beautiful satin lipstick that is a bit on the pricey side at £19.50 but its a deluxe product worth having as its long lasting  and an intense shade.

Lush Bubble gum Lip Scrub - Before I used this lip scrub my lips were always super dry and applying any type of lipstick was a real nightmare, but that all changed when I started using this lip scrub! I really think its a miracle worker because all I have to do is roughly apply a small amount onto my lips, rub my lips together and lick it off and my lips were super smooth and hence being so much easier for lipsticks to be applied. This lip scrub tastes very nice like candy floss and leaves no horrible after taste.
favourite spring beauty products
Human + Kind Hand, foot, elbow cream - If they is one thing beauty product I love all year round it has to be a versatile cream and this one has to be one of the best as it works well on hands, elbows and feet! I like to carry it round with me in my handbag as its the perfect go to hand cream as its smells gorgeous and leaves hands feeling super soft.

NIP + fAB Kale Fix Moisturiser - If you asked me last year if I have heard of nip and kale I would of said no, I have only just recently discovered it in early 2016! Me and my husband use this moisturiser daily sometimes twice daily as its so refreshing and cooling on the skin as it contains cucumber, kale and full of vitamins.

Lush Don't Look At Me Face Mask - Another product that I recently found in 2016 and love! This product is a fresh face mask and needed to be kept in the fridge as its so fresh. When applying to the skin it feels very refreshing and relaxing and once washed off, skin feels smoother. This product has more then one use as me and my husband used it 3 times each.

Lush Lust Perfume - I don't usually wear perfume as they make me sneeze but if I am going out to friends or something I like to wear this perfume as its got a powerful yet nice floral scent of rose, jasmine and vanilla. They come in varies sizes but I got the smaller spray as its perfect for travelling with so its good for me as I visit my mums a lot which is over 100 miles way.

Lush Sea Spray - I know my blog seems to have a lot of lush ( is they such thing as too much lush? haha)  but I could not leave this spray out because its perfect to give a nice and gentle hold to give an effortless hairstyle. I personally use it to give my short hair some volume and my husband uses it to define his curly hair.

I hope you enjoyed this post and possibly find some new products to try for yourself! I am a fan of trying new products and that way you find new favourites. If you liked this post I would appreciate if you follow me on my social media which is below :D
What are you favourite products to use in the spring time? I would love to hear which are yours by the comments below on contacting me on twitter or Facebook which links are also below.

Lush Bouncy Bunny Shower Jelly Review

Lush Bouncy Bunny Shower Gelly

You would think I only go shopping at Lush going by all my Lush posts! I do love the shop for so many reasons because I have sensitive skin and lush products seem to be one of only a few brands that don't irate my skin. I must admit do like to try as much of their products as possible and Bouncy Bunny is something I didn't want to miss out on because its shaped like a bunny so it matched Easter perfectly!

I have never in my life tried a lush shower jelly before and to be honest I didn't have a lot of hope for it because all I can think of gelly is for eating not to use in the shower but hey its great to try new things right?
First things first ..... this shower jelly is shaped like a BUNNY! how exciting and different is that? I hide and say this but its one of the biggest reasons I bought this, that and the fact it smells so amazing! Its just a shame its a seasonal product just for the Easter time ( my favourites all tend to be seasonal products including snow fairy).

My Thoughts on Lush Bouncy Bunny
Anyways onto reviewing the product and I will start by saying ... I was a little bit disappointed with it
for a couple of reasons one of the being is that its so darn slippery! I know its jelly but controlling it in the shower is such hard work and I don't have time chasing a shower jelly round haha. Another thing is it broke after using it just the once, maybe I was expecting to much but I was expecting it to last a little bit longer in its bunny form without breaking. Anyways on to the good points about Bouncy Bunny, the smell is lovely and very refreshing! I found that using it in the shower made the smell intensify and the smell of oranges smell that extra bit citrusy! Even though this is a shower jelly it did lather up nicely and I did feel clean after using it.

Skinny Dip Angel Caticorn Case

Hi Lovelies
If they is a brand I always wanted to try it was defiantly skinny dip! Skinny Dip has a unique and fabulously designed phone cases, bags and other nice things too. I have to say I was always oohing and arghing whether or not to get anything because I am always trying to save the pennies and ending up getting a cheaper phone cover and that's when the story of my new caticorn phone cover comes in play...

skinny dip angel caticorn case
Well... that all changed until recently when I accidently dropped my phone on my floor, shattering the screen! argh my phone was unusable for over a week ( hence why I hardly had a chance to blog unfortunately as I use my phone a lot to keep up with everything).

Seeing as my phone case broke as well I decided to also get myself a new phone cover and I decided to get this fab Skinny Dip Angel Caticorn phone case as it reminds me of my cat Salem! I am a cat lady so this phone cover fits perfectly for me :D This case cost me £15 and has little googly eyes and came with a screen protector (hopefully no more broken phones again)

Hope you all loved this post and if you did I would appreciate if you followed me on my social media below. I love my new phone cover and I am tempted to get more skinny dip products so keep any eye out for future posts

Lush Rehab Shampoo Review

Hi Lovelies
I love trying new products from Lush and for many years I have been shopping with them and believe it or not I have only started to use their shampoos and conditioners, I think it was about a month ago when I decided to get myself the Rehab shampoo and American cream conditioner to give a whirl and see how well they worked and seeing as me and my husband have being using them for over a month now we have a pretty good review for you all. My usual shampoo was not doing it for my poor scalp any more so giving this a whirl seemed the perfect idea.
lush rehab shampoo

Packaging
I just love the packaging on this as its similar to all lush products. Lush has a plain but simple monochrome design which is on most lush products and that to me signifies lush. As well as a nice design they have everything you need to know written on the front and on the back of the label-Perfect! :D
Scent
One of my favourite things about lush is the smell of the products and this smells gorgeous with its blend of papaya, kiwi, mango and olive oil
Texture
Its a quite thin texture but very smooth. The texture is a lot thinner then any other shampoos I have tried but saying that it didn't put me off using it or believing in its power to work wonders on my hair.
Price
£5.75 / 100ml - £31.50 / 1kg
lush rehab shampoo review

Application, washing and drying
I needed a lot less then I thought to get all of my hair lathered up and the smell was very pleasant and kind of reminded me of TGEL which is a nice strong shampoo that helps get rid of dandruff. This one is quite strong smelling but in a nice way and once its on the scalp its so soothing, I would go as far to say its relaxing, which is brilliant because in the shower I think its important to relax. Seeing as this product was quite thin I was wondering if it would lather much but my wonderings shouldn't of been their in the first place as it did quite an impressive lather and with that lather the smell of herbs and fruits intensified and wow it was wonderful.
Verdict
I really wish I bought Rehab sooner as the smell is just divine and not only that it left my always irritated scalp feel so much nicer and no where as near as irritated as before, this shampoo has definitely became one of my favourites and will be a regular hair care product.

Hope you all loved this post and if you did I would appreciate if you followed me on my social media below. I just love Lush products and you can expect to see them in many on my blog posts in the near future.

Weight Loss Diary - The beginning

Hi Lovelies
one of my new years resolutions this year was to get fitter and hopefully lose some weight, well that motivation to do that has finally kicked in for me now and I am so ready to start my fitness journey and hopefully get down to a UK size 10. At the moment in time I am over 13 stone and I am a size 16 and I know this sounds unbelievable but I am looking forward to the journey.

I have been planning it out for over a week now and have been eating healthier and excising  more but having a plan like meal plans and exercise ideas makes it some much easier in the long term for me and thats one of the main reasons I am writing this blog post, so it keeps me motivated and keeps me on track for my goals.

Start weight - 13 stone    Goal Weight 9 stone
Things I am changing

  • Sugar - I know it sounds undoable but i have decided against putting sugar in my tea and coffee and using a more natural sweetener instead.  I will be having natural sugars such as fruits and sugar found in yogurt.
  • Less Carbs - I think I eat too much bread and chips so I will be reducing them, not completely but reducing them a lot, like I may just have chips on a Friday and have boiled potatoes or rice on the other days.
  • Swap to wholemeal - This goes for bread and pasta as they are better for you as they contain fibre.
  • Drink more water - I know this is said everywhere and I need to take note on this one and remember to have enough water throughout the day.
  • Have treats every now and again - I need to plan them out instead of just having them randomly.

Apps I will be using
  • My Fitness App - This app is a must, I just love how much this app has to offer, you put in all your meals and it counts the calories and also works how much calories lost during exercise. Another bonus about it is you can connect other fitness things up to it like fitbit and polar products. The other things I love about this app is that it shows you progress over time and has a forum.
My Motivation

  • Don't give in to every craving - I have to say at the moment that no food is out but I know that needs to change. I won't be giving up my favourites but instead having them on cheat days like a Sunday.
  • It won't happen over night - I must admit before I give up before to easily as I thought I wasn't loosing weight but I now realise it takes time and to stick it out and keep at it.

Goals for the week

  • Plan all my meals
  • Drink enough water
  • Walk at least 10,000 steps a day

Hope you all loved this post and if you did I would appreciate if you followed me on my social media below. I hope you enjoyed reading about the start of my weight loss journey, keep an eye out for weekly updates. I will be posting more fitness inspired posts on my blog too, such as food, exercise and stuff like that.

Graze Box Review

One thing I love is snacks and I really can't deny that so deciding to get the Graze box  sounded  like the perfect choice as its a subscription snack box containing 4 different snacks, each delivery being different. The reason being for me to get these boxes is to snack healthier and to also to trying new foods too.
On the Graze website they is a few boxes to choose from such as the variety box which I have and some of the others are flapjack and bakery box.  The reason I chose the variety box is I thought it suited me best as they is over 100 snacks to choose from cakes, nuts and so much more - YUM!
A great thing I have to point out about these boxes is most of the snacks are vegetarian and quite a few of them are vegan too, choosing the option to get one of the two of these is so easy! I love how easy the website is to use, even I can use it and I am rubbish at working things out on websites - true story :D
graze box review

Taste

I could honestly say I have loved most I have tried so far! they mostly taste amazing and I defiantly have some favourites already, one being the lemon drizzle flapjack- omg its heaven! I am not saying all things in the box were brilliant, some of them I didn't like at all but that doesn't matter because you can bin them on the website which you don't want to try again.

Size

This box is letter box friendly, so even if your not in this box can still be delivered. One thing I recognise now is the sound of this box being delivered! I run to the door haha

Value

These boxes are £3.99 each and I think its an ok price to pay for 4 different snacks! when you subscribe for your first box they is usually a discount.
Hope you all loved this post and if you did I would appreciate if you followed me on my social media below. I hope you enjoyed reading about my graze box review  and as you guessed it I will be posting more subscription boxes in the future .

Lush American Cream Review

Seeing as I bought this conditioner almost two months ago I think now is the time to share with you all my opinion on American Cream from Lush. I bought this 8 weeks ago as I haven't really tried anything from the lush hair care range but I've pretty much tried everything else, so a change was in order and haircare from lush was what was needed to try for me.
Having tried this and Lush rehab shampoo for near 8 weeks one thing I noticed was the smell! O wow the smell is just gorgeous and is very similar to aveda, but a fraction of the price.
American cream is very thick conditioner, almost like a milkshake with the scent of vanilla and strawberries which helps cleanse hair and leave it smooth. This also has sage added to soothe scalp which I think is great because I have a super sensitive scalp.
lush american cream

Application
I used about a walnut size amount of this after washing out the lush rehab shampoo, I kept it on my hair for about 5 minutes ( to soak into my hair) the shampoo is very thick but goes onto the hair very easily and you can almost feel it smooth your hair straight away. After rinsing and drying my hair my hair smelled like strawberries and my hair was a lot easier to style, which is fab because my hair is usually very frizzy and hard to style.
Price
American  cream costs between £4.75  for 100g to £25.50 for 1kg.
Lush American Cream Review

Verdict
I just love this conditioner and so does my family! I have decided to keep this as our regular conditioner as its smooths the hair, even hair like mine which is frizzy and not the eaiset to style. My kids love it because it smells like strawberry milkshake. Another good thing about this conditioner is that it's over 500g and we still have just over a quarter left after 8 weeks.

Hope you all loved this post and if you did I would appreciate if you followed me on my social media below. I just love Lush products and you can expect to see them in many on my blog posts in the near future.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub Review

Its been a while since I last tried my last Lush lip scrub ( I think it was late 2014) and I really thought it was  about time to try a new one seeing as I loved the previous one I bought before which I think was a Christmas edition called Santa lip scrub. I decided to go this one bubble gum lip scrub when I got my latest spring inspired lush haul.
I have noticed that the lip scrubs are made from castor sugar which acts as the scrub which helps get rid of the dead skin and they also contain jojoba oil to help keeps lips soft ready to apply lipstick or just to leave them as they are. I love the fact that this product only has 6 ingredients and its also vegan.
lush bubblegum lip scrub review

Smell

Bubble Gum lip scrub is named perfectly as the scrub itself is a lovely hot pink and the smell oh my goodness its just heaven! it smells like candyfloss, bubble gum and sweets, I know it sounds overly sweet but the blend of it all just goes together like apple and pie.

Texture

Seeing as this product is made out of sugar  it is quite grainy but seeing as its a scrub that's a good thing and once you lick it off it leaves lips very soft.

Taste

This lip scrub tastes gorgeous and I am really tempted to apply this to my lips twice a day because it tastes so nice.

Value

This jar costs £5.50 and I think its fantastic value for money because the last lip scrub I owned nearly lasted a year!
lush bubblegum lip scrub review

Verdict

I absolutely love this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try it as it makes my lips so soft and it smells so amazing. I am actually looking forward to trying the other lip scrubs, especially the mint one because i just love the smell of mint.

Barry M Bikini Review

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Every so often Barry M likes to bring out a different type of nail paint and this one joins the ranks of the glitter, matte and Gelly but this one has a different as its infused with coconut water and coconut oil which helps to nourish the nail and give the nails a glossy finish.
barry m bikini

I treated myself to this the other day as part of 3 for 2 deal for Barry M deal at super drug and the reason I did as I just loved the shape of green this is, kinda reminds me of a tropical holiday. This one is called bikini and they is 9 more in the range which are all pastel and in a glossy finish.

Application

As all barry m nail paint brushes, this was a breeze to apply as the brush is curved and makes it easier to get a cleaner finish. It took two coats to get this opaque finish. I have worn this for two days now and it has no signs of chipping.

Price

These are very reasonably priced at £4.99 each

Where to buy

Can be bought from the barry m website or in store or online at superdrug.
