Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Review

makeup revolution mermaids forever
Its been a couple of years since makeup revolution was opened and ever since they opened they have had a massive array of makeup palettes that I have struggled to keep up with and eventually get too. I have been wanting to try Mermaids forever for couple of months now but it was only available online at that time but until recently I seen it in my local superdrug store, so that's when I picked this lovely palette up to try it for myself and trust me I had high expectations for it as I have tried so many of the makeup revolution palettes as you tell by my directory.

Firstly.... how gorgeous is the packaging? I love the beautiful blue, its very shiny and very appealing to the eye and is probably one of the biggest reasons I wanted this palette in my life. Opening the packaging its a bit disappointing as its just a simple design but with a name like mermaids forever maybe I was expecting just a little bit more?

In the palette they is 32 shades which are all shimmery and they are all lovely shades which do remind me of the ocean so I can see why the palette is named so. They is blues, coppers, purples and many others so many looks can be created with this palette, which is fab seeing as this palette only cost a very affordable £8.

  1. That's a massive range of colours and I'm drawn in simply by the name of the palette! Which eyeshadow primer did you use?

    1. It's got a fab choice!
I haven't found a primer yet that works well enough unfortunately:(

  2. Although you get great value for money with makeup revolution I don't think the quality is amazing (although you get what you pay for). I'd rather save up and buy a nice pallette as I wouldn't use half the colours in this anyway x

    1. Totally agree! I have a few favourites from makeup revolution but a few of them don't compare to more premium brands.

  3. I am completely in love with the big matte palette of the same type and company. I completely recommend it!

  4. These colours are a little too out there for me, however, I love the look of the blue packaging, so bright, colourful and quirky! xx
