B. Pure Micellar Water

B. Pure Micellar Water Review
Hi Lovelies
For me it took a while to actually try Micellar water as I thought it would only be a fad.  I eventually decided to try micellar water to see what all the fuss was about after seeing more and more of them on the market and beauty bloggers giving them such good reviews so I thought why the heck not give them a go. I decided to try one for myself and I eventually found a cruelty free and vegan option which is this B. Pure Micellar water available at Superdrug online and in store for £4.99.

So what is it?
B. Pure Micellar water is a 3 in 1 cleanser that dissolves impurities with one sweep. The benefits of this are it cleanses, tones and refreshes the skin and is perfect for taking makeup off. Its a simple application by applying to a cotton pad and sweeping across your face and the good thing is that they is no need to wash it off. B. Skincare is cruelty free and all products I have seen are vegan.

My Thoughts
I have used this whole product up now and was pleasantly surprised on how well it works as I usually just use makeup remover wipes but most of the time they didn't remove all makeup very well but after using this with a cotton pad it left virtually no makeup left on my face at all and was not irritating on my very sensitive skin, as this product has no fragrance as far as I can tell. This bottle is 150ml and lasted me 2 months of using everyday so its very good value for money. The only slight problem is sometimes it can be a bit hard to get this product out of the bottle but then again its better than going all over the place ha-ha.

Yankee Candle Midsummer's Night

Yankee Candle Midsummers Night Review
Hi Lovelies
No matter what time of year it is from the hottest long days in summer time to the coldest nights in  winter, I just love having candle lit on my mantle as they are something that is very homely and warming for me, so it explains why you will see many candles on my blog as they make my house a home and make it smell wonderful.
For me Yankee Candles are one of the best candles out their as they is so many candle fragrances to choose from and they are so long lasting, so well worth the money.
Yankee Candle Midsummer's Night Review
Midsummer's Night Yankee Candle caught my eye while shopping on my birthday as it reminds me of the play written by William Shakespeare 'Midsummers Night Dream' I must admit I am a big fan of Shakespeare so the name really did sell it to me for this and I paid £8.99 for a small jar candle.

I love the design of this candle and once I got it home I really wished I got the larger jar as it looks fabulous on my mantle. The candles scent it very strong but not overpowering and has a masculine scent of Musk, Patchouli, sage and mahogany cologne and wow that combination of scents is just gorgeous and reminds me of my husband when he's wearing perfume. This candle has a burn time of between 25-40 hours and I think I have used mine up near 40 hours so no complaints their.

Overall super happy with this candle and really wish I bought a larger candle as its gone now unfortunately but I am tempted to re buy it again. I am now looking forward to Yankee Candles themed candles for Halloween and Christmas, YAY!

Floral Monsoon Dress

Monsoon dressmonsoon dress
Dress - Monsoon / Leggings - Asda / Flamingo socks - Asda / Shoes - Matalan

Hi Lovelies
Its been a while since I posted a fashion post as I don't think I am the most fashionable person but sometimes I do like to share my outfits of the day and of course I love my Monsoon dress so much I thought why not?

My favourite types of clothes are dresses, long tops and leggings but it can vary, depending of the style of the clothing and also designs too. I recently discovered  monsoon clothing while shopping for an outfit for Eid and luckily at the time they was a sale on and I got this beautiful dress for a bargain of only £17 reduced from £59. I am super happy I found Monsoon as the clothes are perfect for me and they wonderful designs, they may be a bit on the expensive side but I must admit their clothes are very well made, I am looking forward to adding more monsoon clothes to my wardrobe.

My Top 5 Red Lipsticks

my top 5 red lipsticks
 Hi Lovelies!
I have many lipsticks but a shade I love the most has to be a red lipstick! I just love red lipsticks as they are so classy looking and remind me of retro movies and the beautiful Marilyn Monroe.
I am not usually picky on what type of red lipstick is such as the variations of red and of course if its matte or a shimmer finish, I love them all but I prefer the mattes during the autumn and winter months and the opposite with the spring and summer months.

I have chosen these 5 above as they have to be my all time favourite red lipsticks I have used so far.
My blog is cruelty free but I do have 2 lipsticks in this list who are unfortunately not as they are mac and L'Oreal but I have had them over a year now.
Butter London Lippy in Macbeth ( TK Max Find)
I got this lovely liquid lipstick in my local TK Max for the bargain price of only £4 and I am so happy I found it as its the most glossy lipstick ever and isn't to bright either. Its a long lasting liquid lipstick and doesn't budge easily. I just love the name of butter London products and the name of this lipstick is just perfect, I love it.
L'Oreal Collection Exclusive by Blake True Red ( Mid price Range)
This has to be the most retro red lipstick that I own and such a great value for money at £7. This red is very classy and completes my makeup look in seconds. This lipstick is in a shimmer finish and lasts 6 hours before needing another application.
 MAC Russian Red (Premium Option)
I just love mac lipsticks and this has to be my favourite mac lipstick so far as its a gorgeous bluish red shade and in a lovely shimmer finish. This lipstick maybe a bit on the expensive side but for a treat its a nice choice if you like red lipsticks.
Makeup Revolution Lady ( the £1 bargain)
I love finding fabulous bargains and lady is one of them, at only £1 its a bargain as its a lovely bright red and has an amazing staying power of 4 hours.
Barry M Loud mouth in Tease ( Vegan Option)
This lipstick is very similar to lip gloss in the way it applies but the colour payoff is very intense and such a beautiful red. A little bit goes a long way with this lipstick and is a non messy formula and non greasy too.
from left to right: Tease, Lady, Russian Red, True Red and Macbeth.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter

soap and glory the righteous butter review
For me skincare is so very important but I do like a bargain and tend to go for affordable but effective options and that's where soap and glory skincare comes in for me as I find this brand luxury at an affordable price. I really do love shopping in boots as they have a good selection of premium and affordable options and not only that having a boots rewards card makes all the difference when I buy things for myself.

I usually go to boots once or twice a month, sometimes even more it depends what mood I am in and if I fancy an extra treat. Soap and glory for me is the perfect skincare treat at the most affordable prices and quite a lot of the times the products are on offer. I bought two soap and glory products and I got this the righteous butter for free I the offer so a brilliant offer.

soap and glory the righteous butter review
What is it?
Body Butter 300ml
Vegan
£10.50
The righteous butter is a body butter that is enriched with Shea butter, Aloe Vera with the original pink fragrance (it smells gorgeous!) and it is designed to use after having a shower or a bath.

I personally love this body butter and have used it every time after having a shower. The cream itself is very thick which you would think is quite hard to soak into the skin but its quite the opposite and it feels like silk on the skin and amazingly not at all greasy on the skin afterwards. The scent is just divine as usual for soap and glory products they never let me down in the fragrance department. I found the fragrance is long lasting a lasted a good 24 hours.

Lush Space Girl Ballistic Review

Lush Space Girl Ballistic Review
Sometimes when I go to Lush I buy a few to many products and forget about bath products, that's what's happened with space girl ballistic as I bought it last month on my latest Lush Haul just over a month ago now.
When I go to Lush I must say I am the most random person in the world I just choose what looks nice and most of the time I don't smell what I have bought till I actually use the product. I know it sounds a bit weird to do that but it makes it more of a surprise. I chose Space Girl because I love its design of lavender purple with a nice splash of red, it reminds me a lot of Saturn, which has to be my favourite planet as its beautiful.
Lush Space Girl Ballistic Review
Unfortunately Space Girl ballistic has recently been discontinued and I have no idea what this ballistic was supposed to smell like but to me I could smell violet in their somewhere and it did have a very sweet but very pleasant scent. Apparently this is supposed to have popping candy but I heard nothing which is a shame. I do like this for a bath time treat as it did smell wonderful and left my skin soft too.
Its unfortunate its been discontinued  as space girl have a very nice scent and looked like a brilliant ballistic. I am sure lush will bring out some more amazing products though.

Yankee Candle Kilimanjaro Stars

Yankee Candle Kilimanjaro Stars review
 Hi lovelies!
I have been a fan of Yankee Candles for a few years now and just love choosing new ones to try. I decided to get myself 2 Yankee candles for a little treat for my birthday and I chose this one Kilimanjaro stars and midsummer nights from a Yankee Candle shop in town. For me choosing a Yankee candle can take me a while but the other day I chose these ones in record time as I love the name of both candles.

For me I love buying candles for my living room and I like lighting them during the evenings all year round but during winter its just a match made in heaven. I always go back to Yankee candles as the scents of the candles are stronger then most candles I have tried and the smells match the names most of the time. I know Yankee candles are a little bit on the expensive side but I think they are worth every penny as they are so long lasting and the scent doesn't reduce over time either on candles I have tried before either.

Yankee Candle Kilimanjaro Stars review
Yankee Candle Kilimanjaro Stars is fresh scented candle and is from the out of Africa Collection. the scent of  the candle is cool mint and earthy patchouli with pure natural extracts. I bought the small jar which was £8.99 and It has a burning time of between 25-40 hours. The candle is a beautiful dark blue colour and the design has beautiful Kilimanjaro stars the combination of that looks perfect, I think it would of looked even better on a larger jar though.
I have tried a few Yankee Candles before and as much as I love the look of this candle its not the strongest scented candle in the world and once lit I can barely smell it unfortunately which disappointed me quite a bit because usually when I light a Yankee candle my whole flat smells of the particular candle I am using but with this one I can barely smell it in my living room. The scent itself is really nice though and very fresh smelling, its just shame its not as strong as other candles I have used before. The candle itself is long lasting I must admit though and I still have it nearly full and its been used for at least 12 hours already, so its good value for the long lasting side.

Butter London Bramble Nail Lacquer

Butter London Bramble Nail Lacquer
Hi Lovelies
Butter London is a brand I have always wanted to try, the only thing that kind of put me off was its not the easiest brand to find in shops and I found that they products where a tad on the expensive side for a brand that isn't readily available in the shops. For my birthday I decided to treat myself to a few thing in town and found the most gorgeous makeup in TK Max! and that's where I found the butter London makeup and I was super duper happy.

Butter London is cosmetic company that sells a variety of makeup from nail lacquers to lipsticks and they all have very British names which makes the brand that extra bit quirky in my opinion. I found this nail lacquer bramble and lippy in Macbeth in TK Max for both under £10.

Butter London Bramble Nail Lacquer
Butter London Bramble is a opaque nail lacquer in a eggplant shade. The formula contains no toluene, formaldehyde, camphor and DBP. The nail lacquer is a decent size too at 11ml.

I found this nail lacquer so fun, I really love the design and shape of the bottle and the shade Bramble is something I would of chose anyways so I happy to have found it for a bargain price of £4. I needed 2 coats to get a completely opaque finish but it did look nearly just as good with one coat. Application was easy and didn't make any mess around my nails and looked very shiny once dried which did not take long at all, I think it took just over a minute. I have no cons with this nail lacquer thankfully, I just hope I find more of this brand soon.

Have you tried Butter London before?

My 25th Birthday

Hi Lovelies!
Its been a while since I have blogged about anything on my blog and its because on August 10th it was my 25th Birthday and I decided to have a mini break from blogging to have a couple of days celebrating with my family and I can say we had an amazing day and I just loved the day and got lovely presents.

Waking up on my birthday it dawned on me that wow time really flies so quickly and that instead of being 24.. I am now 25! I woke up early as usual and everyone said happy birthday to me during breakfast which was super sweet. For lunch I decided it would be nice to have party food which was a nice selection of sandwich's, crisps, salad and a few other treats seeing as it was my birthday. My husband treated me a strawberry cream cake from wholefoods which was a lovely surprise, it had sparklers on It for a nice effect.

I got a funny card off my husband and he bought me some gorgeous gifts too! I will show you all them very soon in a near future blog post that's for sure! But I will tell you some of the gifts I got, butter London makeup, illamasqua and some gorgeous cat tuk shoes

The vegan kind box is perfect for everyone even if not vegan as it shows a variety of different products and everything is cruelty free.

The Vegan Kind subscription box is a variety box which could have anything from food to candles in each one. Every box includes a vegan recipe card and this months recipe card is bit of the good stuffs Malaysian coconut noodle soup. Each box 10p goes to the charity of the month and this months charity is Vegan Billboard which puts vegan billboards in busy city centre locations.
So what's in this months box you say?
Here's what's inside Augusts #22 The Vegan Kind Box
I am a big fan of baking and cookies so this couldn't be more perfect for me! Nothing is nicer then eating your own freshly baked cookies. I am looking forward to baking these over the weekend and will show you all the results on my instagram.
A change from crisps these are made from a mix of wholegrains and seeds for a healthy choice during snack times. I am a big fan of crisps, so I am looking forward to giving these a try with lunch one day this week, instead of my usual choice.
These may be small but they are 100% organic and are a raw treat bar. These are the perfect snack for on the go that my husband has took these book with him for work and he just loved them both and wants me to order more already.
I just love tea and trying different varieties of tea so its nice to see this in the box. I just love the name of the tea and the blend of green rooibos, hibiscus, cacoa, vanilla and liquorice! Its full of nutrients and antioxidants. It sounds lovely I can't wait to enjoy a cup of this.
iQ Orange with Wild Raspberry Chocolate Superfood Bar 35g (RRP £2.49)
iQ is a healthy chocolate as its raw bean superfood and sweetened only with coconut blossom. This bar has tasty blend of raspberry and orange its the perfect guilt free treat. I plan having this after a jog one day this week.
Dr Organic Virgin Olive Oil Deodorant 50ml ( RRP £5.49)
I just love Dr Organic products and like to treat myself every now and again when I go to Holland and Barret. This deodorant contains olive oil with a blend of loads of other things such as vitamin E and aloe vera and sunflower oil. I only use natural deodorant so this is just perfect for me.

Skin Likes Deodorant Review

skin likes deodorant review
For me the most important thing about a deodorant is that it has to be as natural as possible. I am not a fan of most deodorants on the market as they are full of ingredients I can't even pronounce never mind know what the actual heck they are. I just like a nice fresh smelling deodorant that is as natural as possible so that's where this deodorant Skin Likes comes in.

Vegan
Cruelty Free

Skin Likes is a 100% natural deodorant, yes your see correctly 100% natural! isn't that just fabulous on its own?
This deodorant is a handy size that is easy for travel and roll on ball for simple application. The ingredients are simple so wont irritate the skin. They say doesn't leave marks on clothes and most of all takes away bacterial odour in an instant.

Skin Likes Natural deododrant review
I really like this deodorant as it hasn't got a strong scent but its brilliant at combating under arm odour very quickly and leaving no marks whatsoever. I found the application very easy and it wasn't drying and gave the right amount of deodorant every time. I just love the design of this as its so simple yet effective at showing the important things such as its natural and of course its ingredients.  I use this every time I have a  shower or when Its a very hot day.

The wonderful natural ingredients in this product are: Scottish spring water, bicarbonate of soda (Mum uses it when making cakes), xanthan gum (a natural thickener found in many quality food products) and a special blend of bacteria-busting therapeutic essential oils.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius

soap and glory heel genius vegan
Heel Genius Amazing Food Cream Marvel - 125ml ( RRP £5.50)
Cruelty Free
Vegan
Soap & Glory has been a cruelty free favourite of mine for over 5 years now and I am so surprised that I never picked up heel genius before now to actually try! I have tried many of the Soap & Glory range but its mostly been just the hand food and the make up which I just love!!

I  bought Heal Genius just last month in my last Soap & Glory Haul in Braehead Glasgow. I don't usually treat my feet even though I know I should more often as all I do is spend all day on my feet and I knew my feet deserve a treat more often then not. Heel Genius is a foot cream that helps rejuvenate rough feet overnight to help get feet smooth and stay smooth.
soap and glory heel genius review

I just love the smell of Heel Genius foot cream, It smells just lush and you can really smell the macadamia oil, menthol and the orange and lemon oil. All the scents go together beautifully and the combination of everything soothing for feet. I have used this everyday since I bought it and  used it every night before bed. I must admit though I don't wear socks as socks really irritate and make my feet hot at night time, so this just went on bear feet without any socks afterwards. I only used the smallest of squirts for each foot and it didn't leave any greasiness on my hands and soaked into my feet in under 5 minutes, so no worries about it coming off during the night for me haha.

After a few days I could see a big difference with my feet and they was a lot less dry and hard skin. My skin now is a lot more softer and they smell lovely too as the cream smells so nice. I use this cream and the ped egg and both together have made my feet softer and smoother and I am so glad I picked it up from boots and I really wish I treated my feet a bit sooner as I think it is so important to take care of our feet.

Barry M Prickly Pear

Barry M Prickly Pear
Cruelty Free
Vegan
I just love purple and I am tempted to get my hair once again, so when I seen Prickly Pear from Barry M in Superdrug in Silverburn I couldn't resist and buy it as its the most perfect lilac nail polish I have ever seen and I have seen quite a few. The weather at the moment may not be the most summery ever but this nail polish is just right for the spring and summer months.

Barry M Prickly Pear Review
This nail polish from Barry M is called 'Prickly Pear' and its from the gelly hi shine range. I am not sure the name matches the nail polish itself as prickly pears look nothing like this but saying that I do love the name itself as its quite quirky and for me personally nail polish names make a difference sometimes when I buy a new nail polish. Prickly Pear is a light purple shade just like a pastel lilac shade and reminds me a lot of parma violets. The formula is very thick and it took a few minutes for my nails to be dry enough to apply a second coat and then a third as two coats looked a little bit too thin and not opaque enough for me.

Application for this can be a bit on the tricky side as the formulation is very thick and making sure you get the right amount on the brush is very important to make sure you don't put to much on nail as I learned on one of my nails that I did re start it to make it perfect. Once all the coats were on I waited 10 minutes for my nails to dry and after that time they looked amazing! I really love the results of prickly pear as it looks so shiny and glossy for me its just salon quality you can get at home and for a fraction of the price.

What do you think of the Barry M Gelly Hi Shine range?
