Sorry for the late review of the August Birchbox but its better then never right? Augusts Birchbox theme was Away We Go! intended to enjoy the last of the summer whether in the UK on or holiday. The theme matched the contents with a travel bag and sample size products so you can easily take it with you in your handbag or away with you on holiday as a nice little toiletries bag.
Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pen (RRP £15.95)
Probably my favorite thing in the box this month is this highlighter, highlighters are great for brightening your eyes and enhance your eyebrows which is what I mostly love it for to get the perfect shape eyebrows.
I have used this a few times and I love it already. It can be used to protect your hair from sun damage or to use after you wash your hair before styling which is amazing so its a product for many uses and the best part it is 100% vegan, gluten free, sulphate free and parben free! will definatley think about buying the full size version on this.
Vasanti Brighten Up Enzymatic Face Rejuvinator (RRP £26.00)
They was two very small samples of this in this months box which left me a little bit disappointed to be honest. Vasanti is a perfect for improving your skins texture and improving the overall look of your skin , I have not tried this yet and not tempted to be honest as it sounds a bit to much for my skin.
Nude Progeniustm Omega Treatment Oil ( RRP £58.00)
This omega oil has has loads of omegas in it 3,6,7 and 9 for a perfect mix to use on your skin to transform your skin to help reduce the signs of ageing. Its a lovely daily treat for your skin and can be added to your daily skincare routine or on its own. This omega oil is Vegan and also free from parbens , sulphates and phtaltes.
Supergoop Daily Correct CC Cream (RRP £32.00)
I must admit I have never used a CC cream as yet so this is the perfect opportunity for me to try this. CC creams are lighter then BB creams and they are fragrance free, CC cream is easy to blend it acts as a primer and a foundation. It has 100% natural ingredients and also acts as a sunscreen which is perfect on the warmer days.
The Proposal by Tasmina Perry (RRP £7.99)
I have not read this yet but will do soon to see what this is about but it sounds promising. The box included a sample from the book I think its the first chapter.
My overall thoughts on this box a on the wall, I personally found it quite bland to be honest but saying that most of the products in the box lived up to their expectations which is good. Will continue to get the boxes, I am looking forward to getting Septembers Birchbox.
You can get Septembers Birchbox for £10 plus £2.95 P&P
